Automotive Pre-Apprenticeship (Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair) (Tameside)

This programme is designed so that successful learners have the opportunity to progress to a Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard.

Course Overview

We are looking for 12 applicants to attend a full-time block of training at our partner college, Tameside College. This will involve a 24 week programme leading to achievement of the industry Technical Certificate.

Candidates must be under 19 on 1 September 2017 (aged 16-18). Learners on the programme will receive £50 per week (subject to meeting attendance and behavioural requirements). 

Following completion of the full-time block of training learners will be assisted into full-time employment. Once employed, learners will then work towards completing the final 2 years of the Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard in Light Vehicle. In order to do this, successful candidates will receive in company support from one of our Skills Development Coaches and also attend college on a day release basis.
