Level 2 Diploma in Maintenance Operations (Construction)

This course is for you if, you work or wish to work in a variety of roles that require knowledge of the various construction trades.

When does the course start?

The start date will depend on which Training Centre you wish to study at. Please contact your preferred Centre for further information.

What does the course cover?

This course covers small-scale repairs in various trades in the construction sector. You will complete the following 7 units:

  • Health, safety and welfare in construction
  • Principles of building construction, information and communication
  • Building repairs (brickwork)
  • Painting and decorating repairs
  • Plastering repairs
  • Plumbing repairs
  • Carpentry repairs



When will I attend?

This is a part time course, you will attend 2 days per week.

What will I achieve?

On successful completion you will achieve a Level 2 Diploma in Maintenance Operations (Construction).

What are the entry requirements?

There are no formal entry requirements however, you will need to attend an informal interview.

How much does the course cost?

The course is FREE for anyone aged 16-18.
