Take the mystery and misery out of presenting
Whether you are presenting to a small group or a large audience, learn how to create a strong message, that your audience will relate to.
The best presenters gear their presentations to the needs of their audience. They begin by identifying the objectives, key ideas and benefits. Their levels of formality, technical understanding and position of power should all play a part in deciding what type of presentation to deliver and the communication style you will adopt.
Achieve added impact, when you discover how to structure your message
Inexperienced presenters often skip this stage. Successful presenters spend time on planning the title, opening statement and preparing a clear message. It’s important to keep the audience engaged with interesting and relevant content. There is a clear structure to follow when you present and having an effective conclusion will give you extra confidence and your presentation greater impact.
Gain confidence in the use of your presentation space and technical aids
Technical aids exist merely to emphasise the message. During this workshop you’ll learn the advantages and pitfalls of every technical aid – and how to make the most of your presentation space.
Adapt with confidence - ‘Oh it’s going Pete Tong’
Even with the best planning in the world at time presenters are faced with unexpected changes. The workshop explores the impact of changes, such as environment, resources, audience size, level of knowledge, objectives, and allotted time that presenters can find themselves in. Good presenters know their subject inside out and can adapt to these changes to ensure the right message is delivered and still meet the audience’s expectations.
Discover ways to improve your delivery technique – and become more persuasive
Successful presenters put rehearsal as their number one priority. They speak with conviction and create interest. If you can appeal to the audience you can better influence them. Be memorable for the right reasons. During this workshop you’ll learn the secrets of great delivery and plan and prepare a presentation. On day two you will have the chance to present your presentation to the rest of the group.
