The Apprentice will train to become a skilled Engineer gaining extensive practical and theoretical technical knowledge.
You will become competent in the complete manufacture of the full range of equipment produced in the workshop and capable of safely and effectively operating all machinery on site.

A normal day would include
The successful candidate will learn all aspects of the operation of all site equipment. The continual aim will be to become a skilled engineer, with the ability to completely manufacture the full range of products produced in the workshop. The apprentice will follow a Fabrication/Welding apprenticeship route and become skilled in sheet metal work and welding processes. The individual will develop a high level of knowledge and understanding of Engineering Technical Drawings and Specifications with the eventual goal of working independently as a skilled engineer within the team.
Working correctly at all times to the company Environmental, ISO quality and H&S procedures.
Producing and maintaining accurate records in accordance with role requirements.
Demonstrating continual commitment to develop your skills and knowledge throughout your apprenticeship.

The successful candidate will have achieved GCSE minimum Grade C in Maths, English and Science. Good I.T. skills with GCSE Grade C or equivalent level of achievement is also required.
