Maintenance Apprentice

About this opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a well-established real estate letting agency based in Manchester. Working alongside a qualified maintenance team you will be responsible for good housekeeping, painting, plumbing repairs, joinery, tiling.

A normal day would include:
•Assist the maintenance team with the upkeep and maintenance of the employer’s property portfolio.
•Preparation of surfaces and painting, plumbing repairs, joinery, tiling and general building duties in properties around the Greater Manchester area.
•Working under close supervision to achieve time, cost & quality in all assignments.
•Flexible where possible in role & team contribution.
•You will be trained in all areas of property maintenance.
•Liaising with tenants and clients.
•As part of the apprenticeship you will need to attend College one day per week.

You could go on to do a level 3 in a specific trade afterwards or a Trainee Management apprenticeship.

What you should have to apply

If you don’t have grade C GCSE in maths and English you will do functional skills whilst attending the training centre.

•Ideally Math’s & English functional skill or GCSE. If not you will work towards this whilst attending College.
•Willing to learn about the decorating industry.
