Apprentice Plasterer

About this opportunity

You will be responsible for labouring, housekeeping, mixing plaster, preparing walls, skimming, dotting & dabbing and patch plastering across the South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire area.

Due to expansion an exciting opportunity has arisen to work in their Chesterfield office to be trained up and start an apprenticeship as a plasterer working alongside the repairs and maintenance team.

A normal day would include:

Meeting at the depot in Chesterfield to be allocated work you will then work alongside a team of qualified plasterers and tradespeople and perform the following duties:

labouring, housekeeping, mixing plaster, preparing walls, skimming, dotting & dabbing and patch plastering.

You will also be trained in different areas of maintenance such as tiling, plumbing and basic joinery.

You will also be working in tenanted and void properties across the Chesterfield, South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire areas.

How you will be supported
Full training and support will be provided by our expert training and assessment staff at The Skills Company.

What you should have to apply

Ideally maths and English at GCSE level if not you will do functional skills at College.
