About this opportunity

A unique opportunity to join a market leading company with a forward looking positive approach to the long term site and group business success. The apprentice will train to become a skilled maintenance engineer.

The successful candidate will learn all aspects of the operation and maintenance of all site plant and equipment. Your continual aim will be to become a skilled engineer, with the ability to fully understand the manufacturing processes to fault find and rectify any production or maintenance issues affecting the site operations. The apprentice will follow an electro/mechanical maintenance route, but will also be gaining skills in engineering areas including electronics and pneumatics. You will develop a high level of engineering technical knowledge and practical hands on abilities to maintain, repair and improve. Food mixing, weighing, blending and high speed process line industrial equipment. A keen interest in contributing to the site and group success and actively participating in it's continuous improvement culture will also be your aim.

Working correctly at all times to site and customers environmental, ISO quality and H&S procedures.

Producing and maintaining accurate records in accordance with role requirements.

Demonstrating continual commitment to develop your skills and knowledge throughout your apprenticeship.

What you should have to apply

The successful candidate will have achieved GCSE minimum Grade C in Maths, English and Science. Good I.T. skills with GCSE Grade C or equivalent level of achievement is also required.
