Decorative Operations Apprentice

About this opportunity

Jenks Decorators is a family run business keen to recruit an apprentice who will learn all aspects of decorating and who is able to work to the highest standards.

A normal day would include:
Assisting the maintenance team with the upkeep and maintenance of the employer’s property portfolio
Preparation of surfaces and painting various properties around the Stockport area
Working under close supervision to achieve deadlines, budgets and quality in all assignments
Liaising with tenants and clients
As part of the apprenticeship you will need to attend college one day per week.

Jenks Decorators is a family run business with well over 40 years of experience in the painting and decorating industry.

What you could go on to:
You could go on to do a level 3 in decorative occupations.

How you will be supported:
Full training and support will be provided by our expert training and assessment staff at The Growth Company. You will be trained in all areas of painting and decorating and areas of property maintenance.

What you should have to apply

If you don’t have grade C GCSE in maths and English you will do functional skills whilst attending the college
