Home Textiles Ltd are looking for a warehouse and storage apprentice to join their team. You will be working in a busy production and warehouse environment to ensure that stock is unloaded for storage, packaged and wrapped for daily collection.
A normal day would include:
Receiving goods
Checking goods meet the required specification
Storing correctly
Repacking for dispatch
Wrapping and labeling goods
Preparing for postal or transport deliveries
Ensuring the goods leaving the premises are on time, adequately packed and have all required paperwork
Clearing and tidying of the work environment
It is very important that the successful candidate is flexible and prepared to learn all aspects of the supply process to gain a full understanding of the products. Working with a small experienced team is a very important aspect of this role.
Home Textiles is a large stockist of wholesale soft furnishings supplying curtains, bedding, soft furnishings and cushion covers.

You could progress to an advanced apprenticeship in warehousing and storage level 3.

Full training and support will be provided by The Growth Company to help you achieve your apprenticeship and reach your full potential in your role, combined with a structured in-house training programme with the company.

The successful candidate will preferably have achieved GCSE Grade C/4 in GCSE maths and English
A presentable person with a desire to learn new skills

A fork lift truck licence would be desirable
