Nursery Practitioner Apprentice
About this opportunity
You will create a fun and stimulating environment to support the children’s development in the nursery. You will interact with children, staff, parents and carers and develop your knowledge of the early years foundation stages and child development.
A normal day would include:
Providing high quality care of the children
Planning on a short and long term basis to enhance the development of the children
Establishing and maintaining good relationships with the parents and children
Using skills of observation to assess child development and complete/maintain records
Contributing to team discussions and input ideas
Communicating effectively with colleagues and build positive relationships with the children
Following the safeguarding policy and procedures of the setting, ensuring the welfare and safety of the children is maintained and promoted at all times
