George Cox and Sons Ltd are an awarding winning civil engineering and highway contractor working on behalf of Stockport and Bolton Councils and other neighbouring local authorities. You will be working on various local authority projects.
A normal day would include:
Assisting lead tradesman in paving works, kerbing, laying tarmac, drainage works and other aspects of road construction and general civil engineering works.
You will also cover all aspects of health and safety, manual handling and the apprenticeship will include day release attendance at college one day per week over a two year period.
If you don’t have GSCE grade 4 or above you will attend functional skills whilst at college.

Level 3 Trainee Site Management.
