Lea Scaffolding and Access are looking for an apprentice scaffolder to be responsible for working in the open, erecting scaffold to various designs/structures and at variable height.
A normal day would include:
• Working in the open, erecting scaffold to various designs/structures and at variable height
• Assisting with all labouring tasks associated with scaffolding including cleaning, lubricating, painting, loading and unloading
• Ongoing training in all areas of scaffolding including tower, cantilevered, pavement and roof scaffolds, working on schools, hospitals, shopping centres and retail units around the Greater Manchester area
Block release attendance at college over a two year period is required as part of the apprenticeship.
What you could go on to do:
You could progress onto becoming a level 3 trainee in site management.
