Scaffolding apprenticeship

About this opportunity

Based in Preston Interserve Industrial Services are part of a wider group, Interserve PLC. As an apprentice scaffolder you will be responsible for work in the open erecting scaffold to various designs/structures and at variable height.

A normal day would include:
• Assisting with labouring tasks
• Cleaning
• Lubricating and painting
• Loading and unloading
• Assisting with various designs/structures and at variable height
•
You will be trained in all areas of scaffolding including tower, cantilevered, pavement and roof scaffolds working on schools, hospitals, shopping centres and retail units around the Greater Manchester area.

Block release attendance at College over a two-year period is required as part of the apprenticeship.

Level 3 Trainee Site Management.

What you should have to apply

Ideally a grade 4/C or above in maths and English and must have trainee scaffolder card.
