• Assisting with all enquiries, both written and verbal, in a helpful and supportive manner from members of the public, colleagues and outside organisations
• Developing an understanding of Council policies, relating to customer care, to enable dealing with customers in a positive, reliable and pleasant way by offering advice, answering questions or assisting complaints
• Updating and producing information from administrative systems (manual and electronic) to ensure delivery of a high level of service
• Using a variety of software packages and systems when dealing with customers enquiries
• Working with colleagues and other teams to contribute to the delivery of customer service throughout Manchester City Council.
• With development you will undertake some financial administration tasks
Level 1 in maths and English
