Apprentice CAD Technician

About this opportunity

An excellent opportunity has arisen at an established, highly successful company for a CAD Technician Engineering apprentice. You will manage technical queries/enquiries to ensure products are manufactured to the current specifications/costs.

A normal day would include:

• Supporting senior members of the CAD department
• Working on the production/modification of technical drawings using CAD software
• Some administrative duties such as filing drawings
• Producing CAD documentation
• Answering technical queries on the phone and by email
The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.

There will be professional development opportunities as part of this role, were the successful candidate will be expected to undertake a wide range of qualifications to help you become more skilled and efficient in your job role.
