A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to secure an apprenticeship in heavy vehicle repair at MFS Commercials in Audenshaw.
A normal day would include:
• Assisting the qualified mechanics with the service and repair of the company’s own fleet of vehicles
• Helping with housekeeping tasks in the workshop
• Learning how to service and inspect the vehicles
• Learning to remove and replace components in Engine, Chassis, Electrical and Transmission systems and also learn how to diagnose and repair faults in these systems.
A one-week trial is being offered, the success applicant will then move on to a HGV Apprenticeship. The successful applicant will be someone who is very flexible, highly motivated and can work well under their own initiative as well as being a team player.

Full time permanent Heavy Vehicle Technician.
How you will be supported:
Full training and support will be provided by our expert training and assessment staff at The Growth Company. Hands on training will be provided combining a mix of day release and on the job training with onsite assessor support, assessing every 4/6 weeks.

Candidates must have the capability to follow instructions and guidance working closely with a mentor. Importantly the right person will demonstrate consistently high levels of professionalism that is true of the brand they are representing. A passion for motor vehicle is essential.
