Auto Electrical Apprentice Technician

About this opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity to train as an auto electrician technician and become a member of a growing mobile electrical installation team. You’ll be out and about day to day, getting to see a lot of the UK and gaining a valuable qualification.

A normal day would include:
• Installing and removing black box tracking equipment, driver safety cameras and safety warning systems to the highest standard
• Test, fault diagnosis and servicing of all company products that have been installed in vehicles
• Working with 12 and 24-volt vehicles and CANBUS
• Managing and handling of stock and parts required for jobs
• Dealing with route planning
• Dealing with the customer queries on site (this could be a field of new cars or in dealerships)
Trak Global has been creating and providing telematics (black box) solutions for insurance, rental, fleet and automotive sectors since 2009. As an apprentice you would be assigned a qualified engineer to work alongside. They will ensure you are safe and understand what’s required of you.

What you could go on to do:
• Get opportunities to travel worldwide installing our products in different countries
• Be involved in research and development of future products

How you will be supported:
Full training and support will be provided by The Growth Company to help you achieve your apprenticeship and reach your full potential in your role. Training will be given via day release at a local college and through on the job training.
