A great opportunity is available at The University of Manchester. The role of the Office Administrative and Customer Experience Assistant is to provide an efficient, effective, friendly and flexible frontline administrative service and support.
A normal day would include
• General clerical support including; word processing, filing, photocopying
• Data input and retrieval from IT systems
• Use of spreadsheets
• Responding to emails and other correspondence
• Dealing with pharmacy professionals in person, answering telephones, taking messages and livechat service.
• Placing requisitions, maintaining stationery and organizing travel
• Assisting with the preparation for meetings e.g. refreshments, room bookings, distribution of papers etc.
• Assistance in preparing induction packs for new members of staff
• Assisting with events and diary management/intranet updates
• Attending meetings and taking notes/minutes
The department has a number of events throughout the year that the Apprentice would be expected to attend.
