About this opportunity

A great opportunity is available for a Property Maintenance Apprentice with Brighthouse. The successful candidate can look forward to developing a number of skills within this well-established company.

A normal day would include:

• To carry out planned and reactive maintenance as required including painting & decorating, joinery, plumbing and general facilities.
• To monitor the Facilities workflow including third party portal for Logistics & Engineering
• Provide timely updates on work order status
• Check and validate the Permit to Work for contactors and verification of compliance
• Create and document Risk Assessment and Safe Systems of Work for jobs
• Ensure jobs are completed to an agreed standard
• Contractor engagement and coordination
• Deputise for Facilities Manager during absence
• Create and manage Management Information (MI) Reports
• Check and validate invoices

What you could go on to do
You can go on to become a skilled trades person in one specific area of construction or become a highly skilled multi trades person with the knowledge and skills to carry out and manage full building and renovation projects

What you should have to apply

Maths and English GCSE grade A-C/4-9, or complete functional skills level 2 in Maths and English as part of the course
