About this opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity to join Snugglebums nursery in Heaton Mersey/Stockport as an apprentice nursery nurse. If you are passionate about a career in childcare and willing to be committed and work hard, great career progression is possible.

A normal day would include:
• Contributing to the high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children placed in the nursery
• Supporting other staff within the nursery
• Helping to implement the daily routine in the base room
• Contributing to a programme of activities suitable to the age range of children in your area in conjunction with other staff
• Keeping records of achievement on file for parents
• Supporting all staff and engage in a good staff team
• Assisting with snack and mealtimes
• Attending staff meetings and training

What you could go on to do:
You could progress onto a level 3 apprenticeship in childcare.

Full training and support will be provided by The Growth Company to help you achieve your apprenticeship and reach your full potential in your role.
