A fantastic opportunity is available to progress your career in accountancy. Workr Group are recruiting for Finance Assistant to join their team in Manchester City Centre.
A normal day would include:
• Checking the finance and purchasing inbox
• Actioning and clearing correspondence
• Inputting invoices on our Xero system
• Ensuring bills are organised and ready to be paid in a timely manner
• Helping the Finance Assistant with bookkeeping
• Helping to reconcile smaller agency accounts to ensure the debtors ledger is accurate
• Liaising with the Finance Assistant to cover any adhoc work that is required
You will be accountable for some bookkeeping for all aspects of the business, in an accurate and timely manner. You will also help the finance team to reconcile debtors across the business which is needed to ensure efficient cashflow is maintained and will involve you dealing with other departments to gain information. Purchase ledger duties will also be a big part of the role. Reporting is a big part of the finance team and there will be weekly reports that need to be completed to help the business make key strategic decisions. You will need to complete all admin tasks on a daily basis and you will be a very organised individual. You are a team player who is happy working together with other colleagues on various projects and adhoc work to ensure deadlines are met and the work is to the highest of standards.
