Childcare Apprentice

About this opportunity

Kids Start ltd are looking for an apprentice to join their team in Manchester to learn about Early years childcare.

You will be working alongside qualified staff who will show you the ropes and assist in your training. Your role, as you work towards your qualification, is to assist in providing our pre-school children with a high-quality care and education.

Specific Child Care Tasks:
• Assisting with the full care of children i.e. ensuring that their physical needs (food and personal hygiene) are met.
• Building effective relationships with children, parents and team members
• Involvement in planning stimulating activities for the children in your care in line with the EYFS
• Be enthusiastic and proactive in developing own skills within the workplace
• To be aware of responsibilities in respect of promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children, and work alongside others to ensure that this is achieved
• Communicate with their line Manager regarding the activities and progress within the room

Full training and support will be provided by The Growth Company to help you achieve your apprenticeship and reach your full potential in your role.
