About this opportunity

Clinton Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic apprentice with a passion for working with children. Clinton is a school built on strong relationships with a team of staff who support each other to provide the best for everyone in the community

A normal day will involve:

The role will include working under the class teacher’s instructions to:
• Teach children in small groups
• Support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities to access learning
• Help with Midday supervision
• Help create a stimulating environment in which to learn
• Facilitate good learning by helping to prepare resources

What you could go on to do
An apprenticeship at Clinton gives you an opportunity to go on to work as a Teaching Assistant here, if a vacancy arises, or at another school. For some it provides the first step on the ladder towards becoming a teacher.

How you will be supported
Full training and support will be provided by NST part of The Growth Company to help you achieve your apprenticeship and reach your full potential in your role. At Clinton, you will be provided with a mentor and with the chance to learn from an experienced staff team, keen to help.
