About this opportunity

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Apprentice L&D Administrator to join KeolisAmey Metrolink as part of the Learning and Development (L&D) team.

A normal day would include:

• An office based role, you will become an integral part of the L& D Team, supporting them in scheduling and dealing with the administration of learning events, moving away from paper based documentation to a centralised electronic process that is slick and easy to follow. This will involve tasks such as updating the 12 month training/learning programme
• Learning and developing Skills in areas related to scheduling and booking training for our people
• During the Apprenticeship you will have the opportunity to develop your skills across training administration and there is the potential to get involved in the creation of training content, helping develop the SharePoint site and supporting the Trainers in delivery.
• Your continuous aim will be to develop your skills and knowledge throughout your apprenticeship.
• The ability to work safely and effectively in a time constrained environment is an essential requirement of the apprenticeship.
• Successful applicants progressing to the later stages of the selection process will have the opportunity to discuss the potential work they can get involved in with members of the L&D team.
• Working correctly at all times to the company Environmental, ISO quality and H&S procedures.
• Producing and maintaining accurate records in accordance with role requirements.
• Demonstrating continual commitment to develop your skills and knowledge throughout your apprenticeship

What you could go on to do
This role is initially focussed on providing the administrative support the L&D team requires, but could lead onto other roles/work either within the team (creating and delivering learning content) or potentially roles within the business in other teams.

• The successful candidate will have achieved GCSE minimum Grade C (4) in Maths, English, Science, I.T.
