Bethell are an award-winning civil engineering contractor and multi utility connections provider who are now recruiting for an apprentice to assist in the stores department within the multi utility division at their Head Office near Bolton.
To assist the Stores Controller with the day to day running of Bethell Utility Services Stores. Duties will include, but not be limited to the following:
• Ordering of Multi Utility materials (via agreed method) well in advance of the planned commencement date, liaising with the Site Project Managers where necessary
• Maintain minimum required stock levels as agreed in order to sufficiently service the required jobs
• Order picking – Picking out requested materials on a daily basis for the teams
• Ensure deliveries are correct (as per order) and sign off / query where necessary
As part of your apprenticeship you will attend our training centre on Trafford Park for 12 full day training sessions, one day per month over 12 months and work towards the new apprenticeship Standard whilst in the workplace.
As a company, Bethell play a vital part in helping the apprentices achieve the relevant qualifications and experience. They achieve this through their dedicated work-based recorders and internal review process. To accompany these, there are regular observations, assessments, coaching and reviews which are carried out every four to five weeks by our dedicated Assessors. These are completed to check on performance and site competency.
