About this opportunity

An exciting opportunity, the IT Support Apprentice role will allow the successful candidate to take responsibility for first level IT support within the UK and assist with supporting the global organisation, as required.

A normal day would include:

• To be in the office and ready to work at the start of every work day as defined by your terms of employment and line manager
• Offer outstanding customer care at all times, developing and maintain relationships with internal customers
• Perform a daily schedule of system checks and escalate any issues efficiently and in a timely manner
• Ensure professionalism and confidentiality is maintained at all times, personally and within the department
• Keep operational documentation up-to-date and to company standards
• Monitor/log support incidents on a ticketing system and prioritise where required
• Respond to support queries in a timely fashion to ensure the best customer service is given
• Provide remote support assistance (screen control) when required, after obtaining the necessary permissions from the user
• Escalate more complex support issues to the relevant individual or team when required
• Assist with general tasks within the department and ad-hoc requests as required
• Windows 10 (and associated software)
• PC hardware (desktop/laptop/tablet)
• Active directory user, group and security management
• Remote user and device support
• Assist in IT project based and non-support tasks, as required
• Very occasional weekend and evening work to perform office moves etc.

This list in not exhaustive and you will be expected to carry out any request deemed reasonable by the management.
