About this opportunity

There is a great opportunity as a Business Administration Apprentice at NWUPC. This role will provide a support to the Administration and Finance Team. A great chance to start a career in a business environment.

A normal day would include:

• Assisting in the administration for Category Group meetings, including agreeing and confirming venue details, developing draft agenda for approval by Category Managers, preparing update reports and recording attendance information.
• Work as part of a team to provide support to ensure that member spend queries are resolved and outcomes are communicated in a timely manner.
• Monitor and maintain stocks of office supplies. General office buying and raising of electronic purchase orders.
• To give assistance in Membership administration.
• To set up rooms; board and break out area, in preparation of meetings and organise hospitality.
• Greeting callers to the Office and liaising with external stakeholders, ensuring a good customer service approach
• Taking minutes at internal meetings.
• Provide administrative support for training events, conferences / other events run by NWUPC as part of a wider team.

This role will provide core skills, knowledge and understanding to support the candidate in progression into a range of roles including business administration, customer service, finance and procurement roles.

Full training and support will be provided by The Growth Company to help you achieve your apprenticeship and reach your full potential in your role.

The Apprentice will be assigned a mentor and will receive ongoing support throughout their engagement through regular review meetings and target setting.

What you should have to apply

• At least 5 GCSEs A-C/9-4 including Maths and English.
