What will the apprentice be doing?
Duties include but not limited to:
• Keeping well-organised files and records of business activity
• Social medias updates and website
• Interacting with clients, on the phone or in person
• Following up on business communications, billing, and orders
• Collecting and inputting company data
• Making travel arrangements
• Building relationships with clients
• Support executive team
• Ordering office stationery and supplies
• Participate in office meetings and taking minutes
• Any other administrative tasks as required
Block Aid Ltd are looking for an apprentice who would probably progress in the Transport/Construction Industry, with an opportunity to progress into transport management in the long term. They transport Asphalt/Aggregates, sand and quarry materials throughout the northwest for businesses such as Tarmac/Heidelberg and Travis Perks to name a few. The main works as an apprentice is on the operational side within the office initially dealing with the basics in administration leading up to a more responsible role as time goes on.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard, which includes:
•Excellent work experience
•End-Point Assessment (EPA)

An interesting opportunity is available at BCD Logistics LTD. The role is to learn all aspects of administration, assist with daily admin tasks such as filing and data input. This will include working closely with the transport and fleet departments.
Through our programme, you will work as an apprentice Business Administrator supporting the extended leadership as an integral part of the academy’s support workforce.
The successful candidate will be pro-active in achieving results and working well within an experienced team, specializing in all modes of transportation such as Rail Infrastructure, Rollingstock, Train Operating Companies, Highways, Airports.
