Kick-start your manufacturing career with Orrell Filtration Ltd. Learn practical production skills including cutting, assembly, stock control, packing and quality checks while working towards a Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Operative apprenticeship.
The successful candidate will learn all aspects of the manufacturing process, supporting the production of filtration products used across a variety of industries. Working within our busy filtration factory, duties will include:
• Marking and measuring filtration felt to specification
• Cutting materials using appropriate tools and equipment
• Sticking and gluing components as part of the assembly process
• Packing finished products ready for dispatch
• Stock movement and stock control activities
• Operating a Fork Lift Truck (training provided where appropriate)
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
• Following health and safety procedures and safe systems of work at all times
• Supporting lean manufacturing and continuous improvement activities
