Apprentice GAS Engineer

About this opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate who is hard working and willing to be part of a team. It will enable you to develop the skills required to progress to become a fully qualified gas engineer.

You will be working alongside an experienced installation, service and maintenance gas engineer to learn and develop the skills needed to achieve the level 3 apprenticeship standard.

Duties would include:
•Following all health and safety requirements across a range of sites
•Ensuring equipment is used correctly/stored appropriately
•Communicating with colleagues and customers
•Following environmental protection processes
•Following electrical and mechanical principles
•Following safe handling and disposing materials processes
•Completing hot works procedures
•Working in confined spaces

Alan’s Gas Services is a boiler installation and boiler repair business based in Altrincham, South Manchester.

What you could go on to do:
Ultimately this will lead to being fully qualified as a gas engineer.
