PZ Cussons are looking for a production operative to join their team. You’ll work with the best brands in interesting markets with great people who truly excel in their fields.
The primary purpose of the role is to provide the opportunities and experiences for the right individual to grow and develop into an experienced production operative working in a highly specialised area of production.
A normal day-week would include:
? Receiving raw material deliveries into a factory execution system
? Managing key raw materials
? Blending materials via a recipe
? Moving raw materials and finished goods round the factory
? Ensuring production volumes are maintained
? Ensuring materials are available for the blenders as required
? Picking customer orders and dispatching through the factory execution system
? Understanding dangerous goods and the correct packaging and labelling
? Working with the planning team and customer services teams to highlight any issues and working toward solutions

GCSE maths and English A-C/4-9 is desirable

GCSE minimum grade C/4 in maths and English and a technical qualification would be desirable
Proven ability to work with accuracy and show attention to detail is essential to this role
Working closely with existing highly trained staff to learn and develop your skills and gain knowledge of machine cutting operations, Edging, spraying and laminating across the manufacturing processes.
