About this opportunity

This junior position at IT Lab is an exciting opportunity to learn and grow within a fantastic and supportive environment. The successful candidate will be part of a busy purchasing team and will interact daily with both suppliers and internal staff.

A normal day would include:
• Chasing suppliers for delivery dates
• Chasing ‘proof of deliveries’ and updating the in-house procurement system accordingly
• Arranging returns with suppliers
• Updating colleagues with delivery dates and any potential issues
• Liaising with courier companies to arrange collections
• Processing small supply purchase orders
• Placing purchase orders on behalf of one of our departments
• Providing cover and assistance within stock control
• Updating procurement pricing for use by account managers
• Creating renewal opportunities within the IT system
• Setting up projects and tasks for the project management team
• Updating renewal dates for annual sales opportunities

IT Lab Limited is a company forecasting further growth over the coming years so there is potential and scope for a full-time position in procurement after successfully completing the apprenticeship (subject to review). For the right person, there will also be the option to progress further within the company and help realise their potential.
