In this role you will support the corporate services team with a range of administrative duties: maintaining and monitoring databases, and assisting with procurement activities and internal audits to support the company’s quality management system.
A normal day would include:
• Assisting with procurement activities within the business, helping draft tender advertisements and documents
• Assisting with preparing reports and cost comparisons for procurement and purchasing activities
• Assisting with preparing papers, meeting agendas, and minutes
• Assisting with maintaining the approved supplier database, reviewing details of new suppliers, liaising with other departments and contract managers, ensuring it is correct and up to date
• Assisting in ensuring that all documentation e.g. process maps, policies and procedures are accurate, up to date and reflect company processes
• Supporting in the completion of monthly internal audits, working with all departments and the quality and compliance assistant to ensure effective actions are identified and progressed
• Supporting in maintaining the company’s legal and compliance registers
• Supporting in the ongoing maintenance of the quality management system.
• Answering and managing incoming calls
• Receiving and interacting with incoming visitors
• Undertaking research activities as requested
