About this opportunity

Bright Stars Private Day Nursery in Ashton Under Lyne are looking to take on an apprentice who is friendly, enthusiastic, and passionate about working with children, if this is you then please apply! You would become part of the small friendly team.

A normal day would include:
•Helping in implementing the daily routine in the base room
•Providing a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children placed in the nursery
•Developing play opportunities and activities suitable to the age range and developmental needs of the children in your room
•Ensuring that a caring and stimulating environment is provided for children that takes into account individual developmental needs and enables children to reach their full potential.
•Taking record any accidents and fill out forms and follow safeguarding procedures in recording all accidents and incidents.
•Following the confidential policy at all times
•Ensurig that mealtimes are a time of pleasant and sharing social interaction
•Ensuring the provision of a high-quality environment to meet the needs of individual children from differing cultures and religious backgrounds, and stages of development
•Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the children, ensuring that their needs are met
•Assisting other members for the team where needed
•Cleaning and tidying up after play

What you could go on to do:
A level 3 early years educator apprenticeship.
