This is an exciting apprentice role assisting the EPOS controller with data inputting. Manchester Central is an award-winning, globally renowned venue in the heart of one of the world’s most vibrant cities.
A normal day would include:
• Accurately entering and maintaining data using Manchester Central’s Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS) system, as per requests made by the kitchen and back of house (BOH) teams, to provide a clear account of stock
• Updating the EPOS system to reflect changes made to stock and menu items, to facilitate accurate reporting and stock control
• Verifying wastage information, using production sheets and menu tasting sheets, to ensure that accurate wastage is entered on to EPOS
• Working with the EPOS Controller as a subject matter expert for the EPOS system
• Ensuring that all orders are accurately matched to delivery notes before the end of month, to facilitate accurate stocktakes
• Assisting with the end-of-month stocktakes for wet and dry stock as per company procedures
• Producing accurate and timely reports for the finance team to support decision making and stock maintenance
