About this opportunity

This is an exciting apprenticeship opportunity with career progression within the Facility Management Department in a dynamic and fast-moving event environment.

A normal day would include:
• Working under the control, instruction and guidance of the engineering manager, other engineering staff and in conjunction with the venue facilities team
• Preparing schemes/calculations/quotations within time constraints reasonably demanded by the sales team
• Proactively seeking assistance from other engineering staff at when required/needed
• Supporting requests received from customers through the Helpdesk ensuring the customers experience is forefront of the request and delivery
• Carrying out work in accordance with Manchester Central ISO Procedures and other business procedures
• Responding to customer needs and building relationships in a professional manner
• Installing and commissioning new plant and equipment
• Working to planned preventative and reactive maintenance regimes
• Dealing with ad hoc management requests

The Property Maintenance Apprentice will undertake full on the job training alongside undertaking an Apprenticeship programme delivered through a local college. The training programme duration will be 1 year, and the successful candidate would be expected to attend training courses.
