About this opportunity

Great Places Housing Group are looking for a business intelligence apprentice to support procurement, risk and audit, data protection, and information analysis and interpretation.

A normal day would include:
• Supporting the administration function across the procurement, business assurance and business intelligence teams
• Attending and participating in meetings both on and off site
• Gathering, interpreting and reporting performance information
• Supporting GDPR and data compliance systems
• Helping to manage and reduce our business risk
• Working to support internal audit and assurance process
• Being involved in procurement exercises, including tendering and contract management
• Gaining an understanding of social value, corporate social responsibility and how what we do benefits local communities
• Gathering information on customer experience

Working across a number of different business support functions you’ll be building a massive range of experience. You’ll use your communication and IT skills on a daily basis, attending meetings, analysing data, and being involved in selecting the suppliers who deliver services to customers. Based primarily in our Didsbury offices you’ll work with teams right across the organisation, from Development to HR, to help them understand how they are performing, managing sensitive customer information in a safe way, and getting the best Value for Money deals for our customers. You will be supporting professionals in their field, learning from their experience and from our customers, so the chances of a any two days being the same are very small!

Full training and support will be provided by The Growth Company to help you achieve your apprenticeship and reach your full potential in your role. The employer will also provide you with a workplace mentor to support your development within the role as well as lots of additional training and development opportunities and enable you to participate in a range of organisational projects to enhance the skills you develop even further.

What you should have to apply

Qualified to minimum GCSE grade C/4 or equivalent in English and maths
