About this opportunity

Great Places Housing Group have a need for a health and safety apprentice administrator to undertake a wide range of administration tasks to support the team whilst completing your apprenticeship qualification.

A normal day would include:
• Supporting the administration function across the health and safety team
• Responding to incoming queries by telephone, via email and in person, taking and delivering messages in a timely manner where necessary
• Liaising with internal and external customers and contractors/suppliers etc
• Providing administration support in a number of areas including support in preparing accident reports, assisting in preparing for meetings/printing and collating documents and assisting in the creation and delivery of safety campaigns etc
• Preparing of documents such as letters, reports and spreadsheets, utilising various software packages including Word Excel and PowerPoint
• Collecting and sorting post
• Being ready for any other administrative tasks that are required

Working across a number of different business support functions you’ll be building a range of experience. You’ll use your communication and IT skills on a daily basis, assisting administration professionals, attending meetings and analysing data to ensure we provide a comprehensive health, safety and wellbeing service across the Group and we deliver quality, safe homes for our customers. Based primarily in our Didsbury office you’ll work with teams right across the organisation. You will be supporting Health and Safety professionals in their field learning from their skills, knowledge and experience.

What you should have to apply

Qualified to minimum GCSE grade C/4 or equivalent in English and maths
