Childcare, Teaching and Learning Pre-Apprenticeship

Are you looking to start a career in childcare or teaching? Not sure where to start? Well, we have a teaching and learning and a childcare pre-apprenticeship course running for 12 weeks starting in September.
Both these courses are suitable for anyone aged 16-18 who is interested in becoming a teacher or a nursery assistant in the near future and would like to take the first steps in the process.
As well as gaining a good foundation knowledge of teaching and learning or childcare, our course also covers:
- First aid training
- Full DBS
- Professional CV writing class
- Linkedin profile
- Recruitment and interview training
- Employer visits
- Work placement
- Various workshops
Once you have completed the course, our resourcer team will work with you 1:1 to send off applications to schools and arrange interviews for your with our current employers to secure your teaching or nursery assistant apprenticeship, where you will become fully qualified.
The course runs for 8-12 weeks, 2-3 days per week. You will receive a £10 travel bursary per day you attend to cover any travel expenses which is paid weekly into your bank account. You will attend the class in our head office in Manchester City Centre.
There are some entry requirements for these courses but this will be discussed via the phone after application.

Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship
An amazing opportunity is available as a Teaching Assistant at Staffordshire University Academy. In this role you will support teachers and students in the classroom in lessons and become an integral part of the school support workforce.
Level 3 Apprentice - Early Years Educator
A great opportunity to be responsible for delivering exceptional care and education for children whilst undertaking a formal qualification in Childcare. As an Apprentice you will work alongside a team to ensure the nursery is compliant in all areas.
