Great Places Housing Group Ltd are seeking a graduate to support their growing team as a Project Manager Apprentice. Great Places Housing Group is a modern, forward-looking profit-for-purpose organisation.
A normal day would include:
• Reporting to the business manager team, providing support for preparation to tender for new and existing services within the Great Places Independence and Wellbeing portfolio
• Supporting with research and information gathering of key local authority strategies and significant policy changes that impact service delivery
• Through focused research providing information required specifically in preparation of tenders
• Researching relevant policy and legislation and its implementation across the sector
• Supporting the business manager as directed on specific tender processes
• Working on projects as directed within Independence and Wellbeing
• Arranging meetings both internally and externally as required to support these processes
• Accurately inputting and processing data as part of information gathering
• General administrative duties as required
• Supporting with smaller funding bids that would add value to services.
• Working within an evolving office environment where the ability to respond to changing customer needs and priorities are key
• Supporting customers in line with the independence and wellbeing framework both on a 1:1 basis and in group work setting
• Mapping existing service provision in local authorities and highlighting to staff assisting with customer signposting and knowledge.
• Attending both internal/external meetings and events as required.
• Supporting place based working and be involved in cross-departmental task and finish groups

This apprenticeship position will provide you with the opportunity to complete the required training to become a project manager within a variety of areas. There may be opportunities for successful applicants to progress into a permanent role with the employer as a Business Manager

The employer will also provide you with a workplace mentor to support your development within the role as well as lots of additional training and development opportunities and enable you to participate in a range of organisational projects to enhance the skills you develop even further.

• Degree in relevant subject (housing, health and social care etc)
• Qualified to minimum GCSE grade C or equivalent in English and maths
