About this opportunity

The University of Manchester are recruiting an office administrator and customer experience assistant to provide an efficient, effective, friendly and flexible frontline administrative, customer service and support the CPPE quality management team.

A normal day would include
• General clerical support including; word processing, filing, photocopying
• Data inputting and retrieval from IT systems
• Using spreadsheets
• Responding to emails and other correspondence
• Dealing with pharmacy professionals in person, answering telephones, taking messages and live chat service
• Placing requisitions; maintaining stationery and organizing travel
• Assisting with the preparation for meetings e.g. refreshments, room bookings, distribution of papers etc
• Assisting in preparing induction packs for new members of staff
• Assisting with events and diary management/intranet updates
• Attending meetings and taking notes/minutes

The Centre for Pharmacy Postgraduate Education (CPPE) is part of the Division of Pharmacy and Optometry, and provides continuing professional development opportunities for Pharmacy professionals. The department has a number of events throughout the year that you would be expected to attend – see details below:

Mandatory Attendance
National Meeting – Warwick – 14th and 15th October 2018 (all travel and accommodation expenses covered by CPPE)
Away day/Mid-year meeting - Manchester – March 2019

Optional Attendance
CPC Conference – London, 7th -8th June 2019 (all travel and accommodation expenses covered by CPPE)

What you should have to apply

Minimum of 5 GCSE'S grade A-C/4-9 including maths and English preferred
