Alpha LSG are recruiting an apprentice to become a key member of their organisational development team to support effective communications, engagement and benefits across the business, ensuring that administration is managed effectively.
A normal day would include:
• Referring issues to senior HR staff
• Supporting the recruitment process in relation to sifting, coordinating candidates, organising interviews and other administrative requirements
• Participating in the collection of market salary information and other data benchmarking exercises as appropriate
• Supporting with administration for starters, leavers and employment changes, inputting to the payroll process
• Supporting with the design and distribution of internal company communication and engagement activity
• Preparing documentation and welcome packs for new hires
• Preparing letters using standard templates for example, probationary letters, reference requests etc
• Providing administrative support and cover for the HR department
• Maintaining our HR database to ensure all information is correct
• Administering vetting forms and DBS check submissions
• Providing admin support in relation to in-house training and apprenticeships
• Ensuring that all employee data and personnel files are secure, accurate, up-to-date and fully compliant with all relevant legislation
• Responsible for referencing salaried employees to CAA standard, ensuring that new employees have a smooth transition during the reference period
• Being responsible for ensuring all Remcom (budgetary change approval process) monthly submissions are printed and presented to the remuneration committee in a timely fashion
• Being responsible for Employee Recognition and Job Chat tracking
• Scanning files for new starters
• Updating organisation charts
• Probationary Review Tracking, sending guidance to managers and collating objectives
