Construction Work Placement

About this opportunity

12 week construction work placement.

• Set up rooms for events, so able to lift and move things.
• Litter picking and cleaning.
• Helping with daily maintenance, so fixing toilet cisterns, fixing door handles, Putting up shelves, repairing lights
Additional : -
• Answering the estates phone.
• Helping the technicians in Engineering and Art.

Work wear will be provided and they must comply with the Trusts Dress code policy.

Ideally starting in January / February 2019 and the placement would be on a Monday and Tuesday 7.00am – 3.30pm.

Ability to understand instructions and be willing to work outdoors in all weathers.
An enthusiastic approach to work and willingness to learn.
The job can be physically demanding and does involve moving of rubbish and litter as a part of the daily duties a caretaker undertakes. But there will be opportunities to try a range of different things for the right candidate.
