About this opportunity

D J Wild Decorators are a family run business keen to recruit an apprentice who will learn all aspects of decorating and who is able to work to the highest standards.

A normal day would include:

• Assist the maintenance team with the upkeep and maintenance of the employer’s property portfolio.
• Preparation of surfaces and painting various properties around the Greater Manchester area.
• Works under close supervision to achieve time, cost & quality in all assignments.
• Flexible where possible in role & team contribution.
• You will be trained in all areas of painting and decorating and areas of property maintenance.
• Liaising with tenants and clients.
• As part of the apprenticeship you will need to attend College one day per week

What you could go on to do
You could progress onto the level 3 in Decorative Occupations Apprenticeship.

Full training and support will be provided by The Growth Company to help you achieve your apprenticeship and reach your full potential in your role.

What you should have to apply

• If you don’t have grade C GCSE in maths and English you will do functional skills whilst attending the training centre.

Skills

• Ideally Math’s & English functional skill or GCSE. If not you will work towards this whilst attending College
• Willing to learn about the decorating industry
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions
