A great opportunity has arisen with Murray Metals. The role is to carryout general administration duties within the Finance Transactional Department. Also assist in other areas such as accurately maintain the Company sales & purchase ledgers.
A normal day would include:
• General finance administration
• Data input
• Answering the telephone
• Filing
• Reception cover
• General office duties
• General build of skills for cover within the department
• Posting cash receipts and housekeeping of Purchase and Sales Ledgers
• Providing cover in Transaction Accounting Team, cross training in Accounts Payable, Accounts receivable and Billing – to mitigate lack of cover due to absence or peaks in workload
• Perform daily banking of all customer cheque receipts
• Dealing with general bank enquiries from internal and external customers
• Assisting in the preparation of payments and moving funds between bank accounts
