Digital Marketing Apprentice

About this opportunity

A great opportunity is available with Ashtead Plant Hire Ltd. They are looking for a digital marketing apprentice is required to join their growing digital marketing team based in Warrington.

A normal day would include:

• Working on product data – ensuring the products we have available to hire inform customers of their features, benefits and compatible accessories.
• SEO – working alongside the Digital Marketing Manager and Assistant you will be shown how to use search engine optimisation tools such as Moz and SEMRush, with a view to optimising website pages to better serve customers and improve visibility in the search engines.
• Social media – keeping company pages up to date with the latest campaigns
• Data management – ensuring our service centre locations are represented appropriately online across our websites, social media and directory listings including Google My Business and Bing Places.
• Analytics & reporting – working alongside the Digital Marketing Manager and Assistant you will be shown how to use Google Analytics to spot trends in website visits and conversions.
• Supporting our divisions – working with our marketing managers to identify digital marketing requirements and web improvements.
• Attendance at meetings and events – attending meetings with our web development, PPC and marketing agency partners to further understand briefing in work requirements.
• Updating the website content management system with news, blogs and content.

The ideal candidate must be a proactive self-starter, with a willingness to learn and develop, travel when necessary and be competent with a host of software applications including Microsoft Office and ideally a basic understanding of Adobe Photoshop.

What you could go on to do
Once you have completed your apprenticeship, you will have the opportunity to gain permanent employment as a Marketing Assistant with A-Plant.
