About this opportunity

Brunswick Medical Limited is looking for an International Business Administration apprentice. This role forms an important part of a team that improves person health care by bringing medical innovations to market.

A normal day would include:

One thing we can guarantee, is a fast-paced, exciting day. We reward our team when they exceed SMART objectives, through a performance related pay scheme which is on top of the basic wage below.

Every day is different and the chance to make tangible career progress is real. Your activities, but not limited to, would include:

• Managing our customer and marketing research data in excel and/ or our computer relationship system (CRM)
• Making telephone calls to customers to organise meetings and find our information (not sales)
• Managing budgets and cashflow
• Managing expenses
• Organising shipments of products (not many) and mailings
• Managing monthly project reports for customers
• Responding to customer enquiries, such as requests for product information
• Managing the filing systems (electronic and paper)

Additionally,

• There will be a chance to go to hospital sites and accompany sales teams as they attend customer meetings e.g. we are a member at the Alder Hey Innovation Centre
• Attend meetings and cover resource in our distribution centre in Dublin as the need arises (subject to suitability)
• Attend Exhibitions (normally UK but potentially internationally)
• Attend networking events if the Directors are unavailable to listen to market information and meet new contacts

What you could go on to do
• The opportunities are genuinely endless with us. We actually want someone who could go on to run the company. If you work hard, study hard and are trustworthy, then this is entirely feasible.
• There will be roles in sales, marketing, logistics, office management, I.T. etc. as the company expands. In the short-term, the next available role opportunities will be typically customer facing ones with an exciting chance to influence patient health.

Full training and support will be provided by The Growth Company to help you achieve your apprenticeship and reach your full potential in your role.
