About this opportunity

The Brew Tea Company are looking for a Finance Apprentice to join their team at Tea HQ. In this important role you will maintain financial records and work with stockists and suppliers helping to answer all their money questions.

A normal day would include:

• Managing the Dosh inbox and responding to external queries;
• Managing the cashbook and reconciling all cash postings on a daily basis;
• Inputting sales and purchase invoices on Xero;
• Reviewing the aged debt position on a regular basis and chasing aged debtor balances;
• Reviewing and processing employee expenses;
• Working with the team to improve finance processes;
• Helping the team with general questions and queries.

What you could go on to:
• Become a full time Finance Assistant
• Continue with your training to become a Management Accountant
• Potentially move to other areas of the business depending on skills and experience

Full training and support will be provided by The Growth Company to help you achieve your apprenticeship and reach your full potential in your role.

What you should have to apply

• 6 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, including English and Maths
• AAT level 2 or A-level Accounting

Personal Qualities

• Are not afraid to pick up the phone and chat to stockists and suppliers
• Are digitally savvy, working with platforms like Xero, Unleashed, PayPal and Shopify;
• Love a proper cup of tea.

Skills

• Finance experience would be fantastic and you would fit right in if you
• Have strong attention to detail and love things to be right
• Get excited by continuous improvement and are up for a challenge
