A normal day would include:
• Balancing bank accounts
• Downloading transactional items from a System Database
• Reconciling transactional items with monies actually received
• Investigating differences
• Calculating monies due to Insurer/s
• Recording Scheme Statistics
• Raising Insurer payments
• Scanning Insurer documentation to third parties
• Reconciling credit card transactions and raising the transfers between bank accounts
• Assisting with posting payments and receipts on SAGE Accounting Software
• Reconciling SAGE to bank accounts
• Raising claim payments
• Updating various financial information on excel spreadsheets
• Assisting with the reconciliation of client money bank accounts
• Assisting with membership data comparisons when dealing with third parties
• Administering the process of collecting direct debits
• Dealing with direct debit cancellations and amendments on a daily basis
• Administering the process of transferring monies between policies
• Sending daily direct debit bank submissions
• Input rejections from each submission processed
• Take appropriate action to collect any unpaid premiums
• Liaise by telephone, email and letter with clients and Insurers
• Respond to investigate and resolve client queries and any further problems raised
• Raise BACS refunds and apply necessary action on policy record
• Transfer monies between internal bank accounts
