This is a great opportunity to join a construction company as a Business Administration Apprentice. The main function of this role is to support the HSQE and training function as a business focused contributor to achieving Bethell’s mission.
Main duties of this role will be:
• Provide administrative support to the HSQE Team which ensures timely and accurate handling of administration relating to existing and new employees
• To ensure that all relevant information is kept updated on individuals files (electronic and paper) and induction paperwork is collated for new starters.
• Book training courses / refresher training as required. to include the processing of invoices, joining instructions, Hotel bookings (if applicable) and grant entitlements.
• All training is booked in a timely manner, joining instructions are issued where necessary and invoices checked and processed in accordance with Company procedures. Liaise with training bodies.
• Update new employee training files - All existing qualifications are scanned and inputted onto the HR database in an accurate and timely manner.
• General administration within the training/HSQE function - This will include answering the phone, filing, photocopying, laminating and binding training materials/manuals and company induction packs.
• Prepare a monthly training agenda.
• Ensure that plant log books are completed and available for scrutiny.
• Arrange touch screen tests, and ensure that levies, grants and funding etc. are processed.
• Co-ordination of meetings
• Collating HSQE report - HSQE data is collated and recorded accurately in order to produce monthly reports.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties, commensurate with the level of the post
